This is Don Burandt, your old high school associate from Morton College and High School. I am glad I got your newsletter around the Holidays and got the chance to check out your web site.
One of my fondest memories is when You, Jim Peterik and I got into one of the Music rooms with a guitar and piano and did some songs from The Sgt.Pepper album.
We were fellow art students at Morton. You may recall getting me to an Amway meeting at the YMCA on Irving and then showing me your inventory at your home in Cicero near grant works. I should have known you would make a name for yourself by your unending curiosity and ambition. Currently Im the Ad Mgr. for Goldblatts Dept. Stores. Yes Goldblatts where both Lionel Goldblatt and I are trying to ressurect our careers.
I stumbled (literally) into meeting you several years ago @ Yvette and enjoyed your show. Your site is terrific and you did bare a striking resemblance to Doug Henning. Though Im glad you are still among the living. Now with your hair cut and those clear chiseled features you sort of remind me of Barry Manilow.(Sorry) You cant mistake me now however just look for a cross between Arty Johnson and Nick Nolte without hair.
